“In Between” is a zine created to give strength and power to those abandoned by our current society. It is meant to create a community and explore the intersections of gender and sexual identity. Specifically, it is meant to focus on the liberating experience that can come from both claiming labels and rejecting them entirely.
Society has created a system meant to separate us through our labeled differences, only meant to benefit one way of being. We need to respect all ways of identifying, find strength in each other and fight for a system that works for us all, which begins by forming a community that educates and uplifts one another. Through DIY art like zines we can create visually captivating and accessible ways of communicating quickly and begin moving towards our better world.
